Connected healthcare -  IoT and the future of health and wellness

Most research points to healthcare being the biggest opportunity for the IoT, especially when combining the commercial and clinical together. For the patient, smart connected wellness and healthcare products from Fitbit to smart pill bottles, enable a person to modify their behavior in a way that can proactively prevent a medical instance. While connected hospital rooms, patient monitoring devices can not only deliver more effective care to the patient, it will deliver that care much more efficiently, improving quality of care at a much lower cost.
